You might!

A recent study found that new Moms brains actually grow after the birth of a child. Mothers who gush about how wonderful their children are seem to have grown the most.

“The parts of the brain that grew are involved in motivation, reward behavior and emotion regulation. That suggests that, by reshaping itself, the post-partum brain motivates a mother to take care of her baby, and then feel happy and rewarded when she does.”
The feeling of forgetfullness that is so common it is actually referred to as “Mommy Brain” might actually just be a shift in priorities.  The study results showed that new Mothers had a hard time remembering trivia that did not pertain to their infant.
