Chili is a popular winter food for good reason, the hearty dish can easily be customized for just about any taste. Here is my go-to recipe for cold winter nights.

Quick and Easy Healthy Chili

1.5 lbs ground turkey
2 cloves garlic – chopped
1 half small white onion – diced
1 can diced tomato
1 can tomato sauce
1 can pinto beans
1 can black beans
2 tbs olive oil

Pour the olive oil in the pot set over medium heat. Add the diced garlic and chopped onion. Next add the ground turkey. Using a spatula, chop the turkey until you are left with crumbles. Add diced tomato, pinto beans, black beans, and tomato sauce. Simmer until the turkey turns reddish brown. Serve with a dollop of sour cream or greek yogurt. Yum!
